Germany has narrowly sidestepped a technical stagnation but the progression remains weak.
Germany’s GDP strengthened by 0.1% in the third quarter, whipping anticipations of 0.1% decline. Meanwhile, data for the second quarter was reviewed up 0.1 percentage point to show a 0.2% drop.
