Drax, UK power plant, plans to go carbon negative

Drax, UK’s power plant firm aims to go carbon negative. As per its plan, by 2030, it will capture more carbon than it produces. It is the largest power station of United Kingdom that generates 5% of it power.

Its North Yorkshire power plant is largely powered by wood pellets which is derived from trees and is a renewable fuel. The pellets are collected and then burnt to generate power. However, it is being criticized by few env....
