Throughout 2019, General Motors announced selling 2,89 million cars on the U.S. market, up 12.7 percent from 2018. Nevertheless, GM's sales dropped 25 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter owing to the 40-day strike by United Auto Workers, the automaker reported. For the second year in a row, GM announced the shipments of over 1 million crossovers, with deliveries growing 12.7 percent to 1.17 million in 2019.
