Deadline to eliminate single-use plastics at Dubai Airports approaching

There is an approaching deadline to ban all single-use plastics at both airports in Dubai.

Plastic cutlery, drinking straws, takeaway food containers and polythene bags will be banned from bars, restaurants and shops at the biggest international airport in the world as of January 1, 2020. Additional products will be replaced in customer spaces as well as behind the scenes over the next twelve months.
