Carbon Dioxide eating bacteria – a landmark research for future technologies

The Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS) in central Israel reported last week that a team of researchers has developed bacteria that are fed with Carbon Dioxide only. The entire biomass of their body is built from carbon in the air. This is a landmark as this might help future technologies in reducing green house gas accumulation in atmosphere.
