British Teacher Becomes the First Female Football Commentator of the UAE

A 29-year-old British teacher, Amy Gillingham, has made history by becoming the UAE’s first female football commentator. She spent 90 minutes commentating on the Super Cup final between Al Jazira and Shabab Al-Ahli in Al Ain on 7th January.

The UK national referred to the moment as a dream come true and revealed that the opportunity had come by chance at an encounter at a car wash in Ras Al Khaimah.
