- Wang Younong, chairman of the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal, passed away from a brain hemorrhage on July 11.
- He had turned 51.
Wang had come up with a major invention to accelerate development of the city's cruise liner tourism over the past decade and earlier this year had ensured there were no cases of coronavirus contracted from the port amid the pandemic.
