Australia is contemplating a processing aid application from a US corporation

Australian regulators are seeking feedback on whether a processing aid developed by a US business should be used to decrease germs in raw chicken.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has requested comments on Safe Foods' (US) proposal to allow the use of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) for the antimicrobial treatment of raw poultry.

If approved in Australia and New Zealand, it will provide the chicken meat busin....
