According to a seasonally adjusted tally compiled by the National Association of Realtors, resale property sales increased by 14.5% in February compared to January. This implies an annual rate of 4.58 million units sold.
It was the first monthly increase in a year and the highest increase since July 2020, just after the outbreak of Covid-19. However, sales were lower by 22.6% compared to February of the previous year.
