Oil prices soared on Friday, reaching multi-year highs as Russia's invasion of Ukraine progressed and oil importers avoided supplies from the world's second-largest crude supplier. Crude prices have seen their biggest weekly rise since the middle of 2020, with the Brent benchmark up 21% and U.S. crude up 26%. The most widely traded oil futures ended the day at levels not seen since 2013 and 2008.
