Arizona could ban transgender women, sports team girls aligning themselves with their identities

Transgender girls and women would be barred under the new Arizona bill from participating in sports on the squad that aligns with their gender identity.

The proposal announced on Friday by GOP Rep. Nancy Barto is co-sponsored by 22 other members of the Republican House and is the latest on a growing list of bills in over a dozen states focusing on transgender youth.
