AMERICAN STATE DEPARTMENT APPROVES SALE OF KC-46S TO ISRAEL IN DEAL WORTH USD 2.4 BILLION

Highlights:

• The U.S. State Department has given its approval to Israel for the sale of eight KC-46 aerial refueling tankers at an estimated cost of USD 2.4 billion.

Israel had previously requested to buy a total of eight KC-46s, 17 PW4062 engines for its aircrafts, besides a suite of communications gear, support equipment, contractor support, transponders, and spare parts.
