According to DDC, three suspected monkeypox cases were herpes

Three suspected instances of monkeypox were verified to be herpes by the Department of Disease Control (DDC).

On Sunday, Dr Opas Karnkawinpong, director-general of the DDC, claimed lab results from Chulalongkorn University's Medical Sciences Department and the Thai Red Cross Emerging Infectious Diseases Health Science Centre verified the cases were not monkeypox.
