A research program to grow human organs in pigs is approved by Japan

On Monday, a science ministry committee approved a research program to grow human organs (such as Pancreas) inside the bodies of pigs. This research is meant to aid medical transplantation.Hiroshi Nagashima, Professor, Meiji University, and his team of researchers will carry out this study.
