A new study reveals that frontline Covid nurses face increasing mental health difficulties.

The CANDID project was financed by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and co-led by academics from the University of Dundee and Edinburgh Napier University. They polled over 400 critical care nurses (CCNs) and 200 RDNs from facilities in Scotland, England, and Wales. 45 were also interviewed in depth, with one describing working shifts under the crisis as being 'like battling a fire with a water gun'.
