A Missouri elementary school with "unacceptably high" amounts of radioactive waste was shut down after it was determined that pupils' health was at risk from staying open.

Jana Elementary School in Florissant, Missouri, will transition to online instruction, as revealed by the Hazelwood School District board on Tuesday. In doing so, we'll have time to redistrict the kids to new schools after the Thanksgiving break.<....
