A bear attacks and kills a man in Nagano Prefecture.

A man was discovered dead on a mountain forest route in Iiyama, Nagano Prefecture, on Saturday morning. The victim had been attacked by a bear earlier in the day.

According to reports from the local media, the police received a phone call on Friday night from the man's friend informing them that the man had gone into the mountains to check on a trap for wild boars but had not come home.
