Jumia African IPO listed on NYSE

Started in 2012, Pan-African e-commerce company Jumia. The company was founded to sell goods to consumers online in Africa.

In April 2019, it was listed on the NYSE. It was first time listing of a venture capitalist backed tech company operating in Africa on a major global exchange.
