An inquest into an Aboriginal woman's death in detention will look into prison health services in Victoria

Veronica Nelson called out for help multiple times in the hours leading up to her death, according to an earlier directions hearing.

When it resumes on Tuesday, the original woman held in remand for theft-related offences will look into the state's bail laws and prison healthcare.
