According to research published on Wednesday by market intelligence platform Tracxn, India's overall funding for healthtech startups fell by 55 percent from $3.2 billion in 2021 to $1.4 billion in 2022.
The loss in healthtech funding was primarily attributable to a 75% decrease in late-stage investments from $2.4 billion in 2021 to $606 million in 2022, according to the research.
