US SENATE CONFIRMS NEW FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSIONER

Highlights:

• The United States Senate voted in majority to affirm President Donald Trump’s choice as the new Commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
• The chamber voted 52-40 to affirm James Danly on the commission that regulates the interstate transmission of natural gas, oil, and electricity, for a Republican seat.
