U.S. economy shaking off the economic tensions under President Donald Trump

ASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. economy appears to shake off the economic tensions under President Donald Trump, defying worries and expectations.

In November, businesses gained a sizzling 266,000 workers, and unemployment reached a 50-year low of 3.5 per cent— all while the Trump administration was waging a grinding trade war with China while also battling other trading partners.
