University personnel in the United Kingdom, Scottish teachers, and postal workers in Scotland have begun walkouts

Postal workers, teachers, and university employees throughout the United Kingdom went on strike on Thursday to demand higher pay, with fears that further industrial action and significant disruption are on the way in the run-up to Christmas.

More than 70,000 employees at British universities, teachers across Scotland, and Royal Mail postal workers went on strike as workers and businesses grappled with a cost-of-living crisis.
