Bernadette Romulo- Puyat, Secretary of tourism in the Philippines has assured the tourists that the land of Philippines is safe to visit and there is no local transmission in the country, after the growth of fear to travel to places like Japan and Taiwan, the Philippines has decided to intensify their efforts of marketing, especially to countries where there is no travel ban, like South Korea, United States, and Japan.
