Rebellions Inc, a South Korean startup, launched an artificial intelligence (AI) chip on Monday, rushing to win government contracts as Seoul seeks a foothold for domestic companies in the expanding AI market. The company's ATOM processor is the latest Korean attempt to challenge global leader Nvidia Corp in the hardware that enables potentially transformative AI technologies.
