Sexual abuse in Irish dance is not a question of ethics

Last week in New Jersey courts, three sexual assault claims were filed against Irish dance teachers, starting civil actions against individual dance teachers and state and national Irish dance groups running the massive Irish dance events.

In one case, the claims are shocking — a minor was plucked and then attacked with a drink. In another, a male dancer was raped by a well-known business leader in a hotel suite.
