Rare subalpine plants have survived Australia's bushfires, according to a search

It's a tremendous relief after fears that the destructive 2019/20 bushfires would wipe out several species in portions of the ACT's Namadgi National Park, NSW's Kosciuszko National Park, and Victoria's Alpine National Park.

After such a close call, the Survive and Thrive project was born, to preserve these plants for future generations.
