Ozone depleting substances accounted for a third of all global warming between 1955 and 2005

According to experts, the OZONE-DEPLETING substances (ODS) accounted for a third of all global warming between 1955 and 2005.

This is staggering given that the man-made substances were only developed in the 1920s and 30s but started to be phased out in the late 1980s.

The devastating impact of ODS was first observed in 1985 when scientists discovered a huge hole over Antarctica in the Earth's stratospheric ozone layer.<....
