Japan's household expenditure climbed by 2.3 percent year on year in September, the fourth month in a row, as individuals spent more money on tourism after coronavirus restrictions were lifted, the government said Tuesday.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications reported that households with two or more persons spent an average of 280,999 yen ($1,900). Seasonally adjusted, spending increased by 1.8 percent from August....
