Japan has joined the list of nations interested in privatizing Alexandropoulis, a northern Greek port in the process of being established into a chief energy hub via the LNG trade to serve the interests of Greece and Southern and Central Europe.
As stated by Gastrade, a Greek utilities firm, the port has appealed to Cyprus, Qatar, the United States, Algeria and Israel and also large-scale global LNG traders.
