It is 'alarming' that six Indian detainees have died in Pakistan in the past nine months

Five of the six inmates who died, according to MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, were fisherman.

To paraphrase Bagchi, all of the inmates have served their time.

The MEA spokeswoman added that India had raised the issue of prisoners' deaths with Islamabad.
