Pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables have increased dramatically throughout Europe over the last nine years, according to a recent analysis by the Pesticide Action Network (PAN).
From 2011 to 2019, the frequency of "more harmful pesticide" residues on fruits climbed by 53%, while vegetables increased by 19%, according to the report.
