France's top budget aim for 2023 is reportedly lowering inflation

France's finance minister stressed the importance of fighting inflation on Monday as he presented a 2023 budget that faces "exceptional uncertainty" as a result of Russia's war in Ukraine.

While presenting the 2023 budget plan, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire told reporters, "the most essential and most urgent problem for France and other European nations is to bring down the inflation pressure."
