Enhanced biomedical imaging through Artificial Intelligence

Team of scientists from University of Zurich and ETH Zurich have relied on machine learning methods in order to improve optoacoustic imaging. According to the team, the method can be used to visualize blood vessels and for examining brain activity, in addition to diagnosing breast cancer and characterizing skin lesions.
