Climate Change – despite drop in use of coal, emissions are on the rise

Researchers have observed a slight increase in carbon dioxide emissions despite a decline in the use of coal.

As per the annual analysis of emission trends by Global Carbon Project - In 2019, CO2 will go up by 0.6 %. Rise is supposed to be due to an increase in the use of oil and gas that has offset the use of coal as a source of energy.
