Late last year (16 December), Hans Leo Kornberg, Boston University biochemist, was accused of the discovery of the process of glyoxylates in microbes. He was ninety-one.
Kornberg was one of the first researchers to use radioactive marking of metabolic traces of trace contaminants and has co-authored more than 250 scientific publications over the last 70 years of his life.
