The annual Hospices de Beaune wine auction collected €29 million, the most ever for a charity wine auction.
This year's edition also beat the previous record of €14 million set in 2018.
The revenues will benefit other charities as well as the Beaune hospices.
The organizers couldn't contain their joy following this year's accomplishment.
