Antalya, Istanbul, has reported the fastest growing GDP in tourism and travel

In 2019, two Turkish cities reported the world's fastest growth in direct travel and tourism gross domestic product (GDP), the World Travel and Tourism Council report said. Istanbul's largest city of Turkey's travel and tourism GDP soared 15.5% year-on-year, while Antalya's tourism hub rose 15.7%. The estimates in the annual report were far above the median of the 73 cities (3.6%) studied.
